Version 7.0.2 New Version Release [Download]
Changes in this version:
General
- Added two (2) new functionalities - Expense Tracking and Management and To Do List.
- Added a routine to automatically create missing database tables and add missing fields in database tables.
- Cursor automatically positioned in the task description area after starting the task timer.
- The value of the task timer grid height is now stored. This means that you can resize the grid and when VeriTime restarts the grid's height is set to what it was before.
- The Interrupt Task Timer form is now resizeable.
- Fixed the bug that allows the starting of the task timer even though there are no tasks in the grid.
- By default only the active projects (projects in IN PROGRESS status) are loaded in the grid.
- Fixed the icons found in the popup menu.
- The Reload button now reloads the projects according to the value of the program option setting.
- A LED displays when the timer is active and the form is minimized. Double clicking on the tray icon restores the main form and closes the LED timer form.
- The Reset button resets the entries in the currently selected row.
Project
- Increased the size of the field for project notes.
- Added a field for capturing the name of a contact person for the project.
Reports - Timesheet
- Fixed the bug that causes the overall totals in the timesheet report to double each time the report is run.
- Removed the Pause Time column.
- Fixed the bug that causes the time entry to be repeated.
- Reports can now also be sorted by ascending start date value with the projects appearing as a column.
List Timesheet
- Fixed the bug that causes the program to fail when the date format includes the month names.
- Added an option to hide or show timesheet entries belonging to projects that have been completed.
- The list of records in the grid is now automatically refreshed if coming from the Task Timer page
List - Clients
- Added a column to display the mobile phone number.
Options
- Added an option to set whether or not only active projects are loaded when the program starts.
- Added an option to set whether or not to display the completed projects or not.

General
- Added a link to the update information page for VeriTime in www.pcfworks.com. This will enable you to occasionally check if a new version is available for download.
- Optimised the code for more efficient data retrieval and storage.
- Changed the toolbar icons to reflect a more "modern" look.
- Added glyphs to the different buttons found in the detail windows and list pages.
All List Pages
- The search box is now hidden by default. Added a button on the toolbar to toggle the display of the search box.
- The columnwidths are now saved to an external file when exiting the program. These saved values are then used to restore the column widths when the program starts.
- Columns can now automatically resized by double clicking on the boundary between two columns.
- It is now possible to rearrange the columns of the different listpages. These changes are persisted.
List Projects
- Display the total time spent on the project.
- Display the time spent on the project for the current month.
- Display the time spent on the project for the current week.
- When the search box is shown, a checkbox to show/hide completed projects is available.
- Added option to search projects by start date.
- If the project end date is 0, no value is shown in the list.
- Fixed bug that prevented the display of list records if the project name was specified.
Project Timer
- When stopping the project timer, a confirmation message displays when there is no description of the task is specified.
This is an option that can be turned on or off (program options window).
- Added a button to refresh the categories list.
Select Client/Project
- Added an option to hide/show projects with a status of COMPLETED.
- When the window first displays, the tree now displays the topmost client.
- It is now possible to select a client client/project pair by double clicking on the selected entry.
Options
- Added an option to specify the number of entries to be displayed when a combo box opens.
- Added an option to prompt the user for a description of the task or notes if there is none specified when stopping the project timer.
Projects
- Removed the extra field below the client name field as this field does not serve any useful purpose.
Timesheets
- The start time and duration values can now be entered by simply typing in the hours and minutes values rather than using the up and down arrows (which are now not shown).
Reports
- Included start time and end time values in the timesheets reports.
- The category is now included in the List Timesheet report.
- The client name is now included in the List Timesheet by Categories report.
- Removed main menu option to print clients, projects, and timesheets.
All the print function, except for the custom timesheet report are now in their respective list pages.
